1. A new year is a new chance to start a new and better life. Make the most of it!
- ႏွစ္သစ္ဆုိတာ သစ္လြင္ၿပီး ပုိေကာင္းတဲ့ ဘဝတစ္ခုကို စတင္ဖုိ႔ အခြင္႔အေရးသစ္ပါပဲ။ ဒီအခြင္႔အေရးကို အက်ဳိးရွိရွိ အသုုံးခ်လုိက္ပါ။
-Make the 'most of sth/sb / yourself=to gain as much advantage, enjoyment, etc. as you can from sb/sth: အက်ဳိးတစ္ခုခု၊ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္စရာတစ္ခုခုစသည္ကုိ မ်ားႏုိင္သမွ်မ်ားမ်ား ရေအာင္ အစြမ္းကုန္လုပ္ေဆာင္သည္။

2. At the start of this new year, reflect on what you have accomplished so far in your life and be thankful, but don’t be satisfied with that. Determine to reach for even greater things and you will achieve them.
- သင္႔ဘဝတြင္ အခုအထိ ေအာင္ေအာင္ျမင္ျမင္ လုပ္ခဲ႔တာေတြကုိ ႏွစ္စမွာ ဆင္ျခင္ၿပီး ေက်နပ္ႏုိင္ပါေစ၊ ဒါေပမဲ႔ ဒီေလာက္နဲ႔ေတာ႔ ေက်နပ္မေနပါနဲ႔။ ဒီထက္ပုိၿပီး ေအာင္ျမင္မူေတြ ရေအာင္ လုပ္ဖုိ႔ သႏၷိဌာန္ခ်ပါ။ ဒါဆုိရင္ သင္ဟာ ေအာင္ျမင္ရရွိဖုိ႔ ေသခ်ာသြားပါၿပီ။

ေသေသခ်ာခ်ာ ေလးေလးနက္နက္ စဥ္းစားသည္။

-Satisfied with(sb/sth)=pleased= အားရေက်နပ္ေသာ


3. Life is short. What did you do yesterday that you want to be remembered by? What will you do today?
-ဘဝဟာ တုိေတာင္းပါတယ္။ အျခားသူေတြက သင႔္ကုိ သတိရေနေစခ်င္တဲ႔ ဘယ္အရာေတြကို မေန႔က သင္လုပ္ခဲ႔ပါသလဲ။ ဒီေန႔ေရာ ဘာေတြလုပ္ဦးမွာလဲ။

-Want to V1=ခ်င္သည္။ Want to be V3 by.....=ေစခ်င္သည္။


4. If you want to really live, start off each day by finding something to be thankful for.

-သင္ဟာ ဘဝကို တကယ္(အဓိပၸာယ္ရွိရွိ) ေနထုိင္ခ်င္တယ္ဆုိရင္ ေန႔တစ္ေန႔ကို ေက်းဇူးတင္စရာ တစ္ခုခု ရွာေဖြၿပီးေတာ႔တာ စတင္လုိက္ပါ။

5. Success doesn’t run around begging to be discovered. Like buried treasure, only the most believing and persevering find it.

-ေအာင္ျမင္မူဆုိတာ ရွာေဖြေတြ႔ရွိပါေစလုိ႔ (ဆု)ေတာင္းေနရုံသက္သက္နဲ႔ ျဖစ္ေပၚမလာေပ။ ေျမေအာက္မွာျမဳပ္ေနတဲ႔ ရတနာလုိ အယုံုုၾကည္ဆုံးႏွင္႔ ဇြဲအေကာင္းဆုံးသူေတြသာ ဒါကုိ ေတြ႔ၾကတာပါ။

-Run around (doing)= to be very busy doing many small jobs= အေရးမပါတဲ႔အရာေတြနဲ႔ အလုပ္ရႈပ္ေနသည္။
-The believing and persevering= အယုံုုၾကည္ဆုံးႏွင္႔ ဇြဲအေကာင္းဆုံးသူေတြ
-The+Adjective=Plural Noun= The ႏွင္႔ Adj ေပါင္းလွ်င္ အမ်ားနာမ္ျဖစ္လာသည္။


6. A great deal of what you see depends on what you are looking for.

-သင္ရွာေဖြေန(ေမွ်ာ္လင္႔ထား)တာေတြကိုပဲ သင္ေတြ႔တာပါ။

-[sing] A good / great of sth= much; a lot=အမ်ားအျပား(အနည္းကိန္း ယူေလ႔ရွိသည္)
-Look for=to find sb/sth or to hope for sth; to expect sth=ရွာေဖြသည္ (သုိ႔) ေမွ်ာ္လင္႔သည္။


7. There is no happiness like knowing that you have made a difference in someone else’s life.

- သင္႔ဟာ အျခားတစ္စုုုုံံတစ္ေယာက္ရဲ႕ ဘဝကို ထူးျခားေအာင္ ဖန္တီးလုပ္ေဆာင္ခဲ႔တယ္ဆုိတာ သိလုိက္ရျခင္းႏွင္႔တူတဲ႔ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္မႈမ်ဳိးဆုိတာ မရွိပါ။

Eg. There is no place like home. There is no time like present.


8. Showing a little real love not only encourages a person for the present, but gives him a brighter outlook on the future.
-စစ္မွန္ေသာ ေမတၱာတရားကို အနည္းမွ် ေဖာ္ျပျခင္းသည္ လူတစ္ေယာက္ကို ပစၥဳပၸန္အခုိက္အတန္႔တြင္ အားရွိေစရုံမွ်မက အနာဂါတ္အတြက္လည္း ပို၍လင္းလက္ေတာက္ပေသာ သေဘာထားအျမင္ကို ေဆာင္က်ဥ္းေပးပါသည္။

9. To have friends, be a friend.

10. Christmas is a time to see the world through the eyes of love. It is a time to remember that the world is made up of people like us. All have problems like we do, no matter who they are or where they come from.
